Breaking the [Green Stone] Mold: Embracing My True Self in Dentistry

Posted .

For 13 years I’ve navigated the world of dentistry, proudly following in my father’s footsteps. His four decades of experience laid a strong foundation, but I’ve carved my own path.

As a 35-year-old female dentist, I face words that once stung like arrows. “Disruptive,” “bulldozer,” “monster,” and others more painful have floated my way, trying to define me.

But guess what? I’m no longer retreating in the shadows of those labels! I used to let them dictate my feelings but now I rise above. I continue forward.

Why? Because being a dentist isn’t just about teeth—it’s about people. It’s about listening to my patients, supporting my team and staying true to my vision of care. In 2025 and beyond, I’m committed to being a patient-centric provider.

Being a female leader in dentistry comes with challenges, but I wear my badges of experience with pride. I’m not just drilling teeth; I’m drilling down to the heart of what it means to provide exceptional care. This means implementing change when change is not warranted, or even necessary. It’s being a trail blazer. It’s making something that works, work even BETTER.
I’m changing the world—one tooth at a time! And my hope is that your experience in my office is exceptional.
